Information

Rome 20 is a portable floor for applications in multi-purpose halls and ice rinks. It features a special patented interlocking system that makes setup and disassembling incredibly fast. Rome 20 needs to be installed on an even sub-floor. The slab should be level according to DIN 18202:1997-04, Figure 3, or it must be levelled subsequently. This can be done, for example, with dry or liquid levelling compounds.

The set-up of the floor is very quick. Every panel includes a pair of spring clips and connection discs to secure it to the adjacent panels. No pins or screws are required to connect the panels. One 2.14 x 1.07 m panel (3’-6 x 7’) weighs only 37 kg (82 lbs), accelerating the setup process exceptionally.

Model Rome 20 features a 12.6 mm-thick HARO sports parquet consisting of a premium-choice parquet top layer supported by a top-quality plywood core layer. The 3.6 mm parquet top layer receives a factory-applied PERMADUR finish for a superior performance and surface protection. Rome 20 fully meets the requirements of German DIN V standard 18032-2; April 2001, EN 14904, and is officially approved by the Federation of International Basketball Association (FIBA).

At the moment a majority of the German premier league Basketball teams rely on the quality, safety standards and performance of Rome 20. The storage boxes are stackable, so you can put up to three boxes on top of one other and save storage space. It is quality-tested according to RAL GZ 942 and meets the requirements of ÖISS 2005.
