Information
Model Helsinki is a so-called area-elastic sports floor. It must be installed on an even sub-floor. The slab should be level according to DIN 18202:1997-04, Figure 3, or it must be levelled subsequently. This can be done, for example, with dry or liquid levelling compounds.
The construction height of Helsinki 25 is only 40.3 mm and therefore the perfect choice for refurbishments and renovation projects. Helsinki 25 is the low-budget version of Helsinki 20, with load-distribution panels made of OSB instead of plywood. However, the performance stays the same. Model Helsinki provides both a high shock absorption greater than 60% for the athletes’ safety and a ball rebound of 96% for a successful game.
Model Helsinki 25 features a 18.3 mm-thick HARO sports parquet consisting of a premium choice parquet top layer supported by a top-quality plywood core layer. The 5.6 mm parquet top layer receives a factory-applied PERMADUR finish for a superior performance and surface protection. Helsinki 25 fully meets the requirements of the German DIN V standard 18032-2; April 2001, EN 14904 and is officially approved by the Federation of International Basketball Association (FIBA). It is quality-tested according to RAL GZ 942.
