FC Bayern counts on sports floors “Made in Bavaria” -
FCB Basketball Team‘s training hall and tournament arena are fitted with sports floors by HARO Sports Flooring

Säbener Straße in Munich is known as the cradle of gigantic sporting successes. Whether it is for football or now for basketball - FC Bayern’s goal is always the same: with top-class sport to the top of the league. And the Beko basketball league attracts more spectators than ever. This is also shown by the many TV programs that are trying to win over the viewers with broadcasts about basketball. Among others, Kabel eins shows live games in up to ten broadcasts. FC Bayern Basketball and with it HARO Sports Floors will be in the centre of attention.

HARO Sports Flooring has been playing in the top league of its industry for decades. The FC Bayern training hall on Säbener Straße has therefore been fitted with HARO Sports Helsinki 15. Model Helsinki is a sports floor with an elastic layer which is ideal for renovations due to its low profile height. Thanks to its even construction, the floor has excellent sports-physiological properties.

To live up to the requirements of top-class sport and TV broadcasts, 628 m² of the portable floor HARO Sports Rome 25 were ordered especially for the league games in the Olympia Eishalle.

This floor, which is used in European and World Championships, meets the highest requirements specified in DIN V 18032-2; April 2001, and in the FIBA Standard – optimal conditions for the fight for points. Each floor element weighs less than 32 kg and is very easy to handle. Thanks to the special patented interlocking system, the elements are assembled tightly and create an almost seamless look. The “war paint” – i.e. the FC Bayern Munich logo and inscription – was already applied at the manufacturer in Rosenheim.

This way, the prepared elements can be brought to the Olympia-Eishalle where they can be installed in less than three hours. It can be dismantled even faster.

With the HARO Sports Floor double in the training hall and the competition arena, the club feels prepared for new tasks. Technical performance and a perfect adaption to the structural conditions on the one hand, and excellent sports-physiological properties on the other hand, are important factors. Only together do they form the ideal basis to meet the club’s ambitious goals and at the same time care for the long-term health of the players.
