The Finish – one of the most important features of hardwood sports flooring.

The surface finish is the floor’s actual wear layer. It must be extremely wear resistant and durable, since enormous costs (both in time and money!) are associated with re-coating the finish. Consequently, HARO offers two unique and long lasting surface finishes developed especially for the demanding needs of today:

• HARO PERMADUR® High Finish features ideal properties for most sports disciplines and other multi-purpose use facilities.
• HARO SST special finish with depth impregnation developed principally for squash- and racquetball courts.

PERMADUR® High Finish

The patented PERMADUR® High Finish creates an unique surface quality that lives up to highest standards. PERMADUR® High Finish is a factory applied finish featuring several layers of UV-hardened high-grade mineral varnish (Polyurethane). Experience has shown that PERMADUR® finished hardwood flooring achieves an extraordinarily long lifetime before a first recoating becomes necessary. PERMADUR® achieves a much longer lifetime than conventional finishes.

The PERMADUR® finish provides a surface with a consistent and correct friction specially developed for athlete’s shoes. Because of its UV treated finish, the finish won't get more slippery as the season goes by - other finishes can do as the finish wears down. And it will perform this way for many years without recoating!

SST Special Finish

The SST Special Finish was developed primarily for squash- and racquetball courts. The risk of slipping or sliding due to sweat drops on these courts can almost be eliminated with SST finished floors.
A special sanding process ensures a perfect grip as stipulated by DIN 18038 while the depth impregnation optimally protects the hardwood sports floor.
