Pros Play on HARO - A portable high-tech sports floor for the "ratiopharm arena"
HARO SPORTS, 27.01.2012
Ulm / Neu-Ulm – the new “ratiopharm arena” in Ulm is now equipped with the ideal basis: the portable Sports Floor Rome 20 by HARO Sports Flooring, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of portable and fixed-installed, elastic coating sports floors, is now the strong sixth "team member" in top-class basketball tournaments in the new multi-purpose hall.
Quality, know-how and the extensive experience from over 8000 nationally and internationally completed objects tipped the scale towards the HARO Sports Floor Rome 20 when it was time to decide which portable sports floor to use.
The “ratiopharm arena" with around 6000 spectator seats is intended to be used in a flexible way. Various events will take place: Nena, Mario Barth and many other famous artists will take to the stage here. This is why only a portable floor was worth considering: the Sports Floor Rome 20 by HARO Sports. It satisfies the highest requirements as stated in the DIN V 18032-2 standard and defined by the FIBA. 628 “athletic” squaremetres of it can be installed within two and a half hours and be removed in even less time when the game is over. This flexibility is essential for the intense use of halls in the sports and event world nowadays.
The Sports Parquet made of Oak was provided with all necessary basketball lines; the two-metre run-off zone on the sides of the sports floor was painted in black, the colour chosen by the operators and the team. Of course the HARO experts were on site, too.
With the new arena and the ideal training and playing conditions – not least due to the new sports floor by HARO Sports – the basketball team of ratiopharm ulm has the best basis for sporting success. The current second in the German premier league table already has experience with HARO Sports Floors. The team has been training and playing on a fixed-installed Sports Parquet from Rosenheim for years. Switching to the portable sports floor should therefore not be difficult for the team.
